Hainsworth Parade Wear is the world’s leading supplier of specialist woollen and worsted fabrics for use in ceremonial military uniforms.

We have been manufacturing these cloths for over 200 years and currently supply traditional ceremonial woollen cloths to a host of European armed forces. Indeed, only Hainsworth Parade Wear has the skills and capability to weave and finish the traditional Guards scarlet cloth, manufactured at our premises for generations.

We have been awarded a prestigious contract from the MOD to manufacture, procure and supply a wide range of ceremonial and parade wear fabrics and we can offer these ex-stock for use in MOD contracts.

Our range includes both fibre and piece dyed woollen fabrics with weights ranging from340 to 700gsm/m², whilst we also stock ceremonial worsteds, tartans and some specialist felts and velvets
